Multi-conductor transmission line with nonlinear impedances: Application to 50Hz studies

چکیده
This paper presents an algorithm for the evaluation of currents and voltages along a multi-conductor transmission line having non-linear impedances due to presence ferromagnetic conductors; we assume that these are function current carried by relevant conductor so equivalent circuit modelling is has be solved means iterative procedure. The present can considered as generalization our previous works successfully applied single-conductor lines with earth return. Some examples application typical 50-60 Hz interference studies between power/railway on telecommunication cables pipelines shown.

Transmission Line Conductor Galloping Analysis using FEM
To find a mathematical standard of the galloping mechanism, and it is required to compare the existing mathematical standards on the conductor galloping. In this paper, using the Hamilton principle the continuum cable standard for transmission lines was proposed. Discrete standards of one degree of freedom, two degree of freedom, and three degree of freedom were obtained from the Garlekin funct...
متن کاملTravelling-wave Modelling of Uniform Multi- Conductor Transmission Line Networks — Part I: Analytical Derivation
In Part I of this work, analysis of uniform multi-conductor transmission line networks is performed on travelling-wave basis, via “quasi-TEM” approach. Narrowband interpretation of the modal theory in the time domain and quantification of the multiple reflections effect are both included. Theoretical demonstration and analytical formulation are provided, along with guidelines towards computatio...
متن کاملTravelling-wave Modelling of Uniform Multi- Conductor Transmission Line Networks — Part Ii: Experimental Validation — Applica- Bility
In Part I of this work, travelling-wave modelling of uniform multi-conductor transmission line networks was analytically established with direct applicability to narrowband transmission, covering any network formed of lossy (in the general case), diagonalisable uniform multi-conductor transmission lines of either distinct or degenerate eigenvalues. As the whole work applies especially in the fi...
متن کاملMulti-conductor transmission line model for electrified railways: A method for including responses of lumped devices
For studying the response to transients caused by lightning and other electromagnetic disturbance sources, electrified railway systems can be represented as a system of multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) above a finitely conducting ground. The conductors present in this system would be wires for traction power supply, auxiliary power, return conductors for traction current, the tracks, and...
